This is set completely alternate-universe where all the pirates and zombies and such probably never occurred and our main characters lived normal lives up until the story. Hope it doesn't fail to much.

Summary: After Will leaves to serve his time on The Flying Dutchman, Elizabeth begins to feel very misplaced and lonely. After five years Elizabeth begins to loose sight of reality and she gains sight of long forgotten friend.
Author Notes:This is the end, kids. It's finally over. I'm really nervous about this and I hope it's alright and meets up to the exceptions all of you have had due to the "dramatic build up" of waiting almost a month for this chapter. I've really tried to keep the overall theme of bittersweetness throughout the series and I really hope that shows through in this final chapter. The ending is a little conclusion-less due to the fact that those are the types of ending I personally prefer. Also, these a little nod to Doctor Zhivago in this chapter, cookies if you can find it. (It shouldn't be terribly hard.)
You guys have been the best and I'm coming up with some ideas for another Norribeth one shot or maybe even another series. The next one won't be so angsty, promise.
